Tools

You can add tools to the Tools menu, using the Add/configure dialog. The same dialog can be used to (re-)configure tools.

Examples are given below (on 2.8.x and 2.6.x versions use Ctrl+C to copy from the tables below, Ctrl+V to paste into the Add Tools dialog)

Tools for use with MSW

Storage of tools

The tools are stored in the registry [MS-Windows] or .wxhatch  file [Unix] in the format

Menu &Label ; command[.exe] parameters

with the [.exe] part only needed in MS-Windows

The parameters are stored in the registry or dotfile as follows:

%d current project directory
%n current project name
%e current project executable filename
%a all files in project
%f current file in the editor pane
%w wxWindows directory
