Open a Terminal window and type gcc -v to check that the Apple Developer tools have been installed. (If you get command not found use the Leopard install DVD to add the Developer Tools.)
1) Build the wxWidgets library
Go to the wxWidgets directory and type2) Build wxHatch./configure --enable-debug --enable-shared=no
This will build the default configuration, including the Styled Text Control library.
Note: I don't have a 10.4 Tiger machine for testing, but you could try the same commands. Let me know of any bugs.
