If you don't already use wxWidgets you will probably need to download the wxWidgets library. At the time of writing, wxHatch works well with 2.8.9, 2.6.4 and 2.4.2 stable releases, and with the development code. If you have a recent wxHatch binary it will fetch and extract the wxWidgets library and documentation for you.
Otherwise you can get the
you need for your platform from http://biolpc22.york.ac.uk/pub
For the 2.8.6 release they are available in several formats including the following:
Linux/Solaris (and other UNIX)
NoteCVS copy of the wxWidgets Library
After extracting the downloaded files, you will probably end up with a wxWindows-2.8.6 directory. You may like to rename the directory to wxWidgets. These help pages assume that you have done this and the files are in wxWidgets, but if your files are in another directory, just substitute its name in the documentation.
You may like to get the latest version of wxWidgets from the subversion repository. On a Unix platform:
svn co https://svn.wxwidgets.org/svn/wx/wxWidgets/trunk/ wxWidgets
You will also need to download the latest wxWidgets documentation from http://biolpc22.york.ac.uk/pub/Daily_Docs/wx-docs-htb.tar.gz
